How Do I Join?
Graduate Students
The graduate programs of four departments at Emory and Georgia Tech include the courses and research of NeuroLab. We encourage you to learn more about their admissions and curricula at their web sites (below). Apply to the program that best suits your skills and interests, and be sure to check out our IGERT fellowship for funded graduate studies in Hybrid Neural Microsystems. The program of study offers an interdisciplinary and problem-based approach to neuroengineering for students from both biological science and engineering backgrounds.
Any undergrads wishing to work in the Neurolab should first familiarize themselves with our web pages, and decide which Neurolab work most interests them. Then they should contact the professor in charge of the specific lab of interest, by phone or email, and ask whether they have any opportunities for undergrads.

- GTEC Undergraduate Research Scholars
The Undergraduate Research Scholars (URS) program is currently accepting applications for the 2007 URS program. The URS program provides students with a full year of research experience working on their own research project in an IBB faculty laboratory. Students currently involved in labs as volunteers are encouraged to consider applying to the URS program. Successful applicants will have a minimum GPA of 3.3, junior standing by January 2007 and a strong interest in gaining substantial research experience. Applications are due by October 16, 2006. For more information and an on-line application visit the GTEC website. Please contact Shawna Young-Garcia with any questions.
