I am currently an Assistant Professor in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. I received the Ph.D. and M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Rice University in 2007 and 2002. Previously, I attended the University of Michigan where I earned the B.S.E. in Computer Engineering and the B.F.A in Performing Arts Technology (Music Technology). I have previously conducted research at MIT Lincoln Laboratory and as a postdoctoral scholar in the Redwood Center for Theoretical Neuroscience at the University of California, Berkeley. At Georgia Tech I am a member of the Laboratory for Neuroengineering and affiliated with the Center for Signal and Image Processing.
