This is a scientific discussion group for researchers who use multi-electrode arrays to record and stimulate brain cells, in vitro or in vivo. We encourage posting of scientific questions and discussion related to the technology, multi-unit neurophysiology, and software tools for processing multi-electrode data. We encourage members to announce their papers and abstracts. We encourage manufacturers and distributors of multi-electrode array systems to keep us informed of the products they offer. MEA-related advertisements are allowed as long as they contain lots of useful details. Please post raw text, not HTML or attachments. Yahoo groups has a place (click on 'Files') to upload preprints, reprints, brochures, etc, that you wish to share with the MEA-Users.
For those interested in multi-photon laser-scanning microscopy. This includes researchers using MPLSM, thinking of using MPLSM, makers of microscopes, lasers, or other equipment that MPLSM depends on. It has been administered since its inception in 1994 by Steve M. Potter, PhD, and was previously known as the tplsm_users, when researchers didn't fully appreciate that there was more to life than just two photons.
