Interfacing with Peripheral Nerves for Prosthetic Limb Control

  • Isaac Clements

The focus of this project is to regenerate nerves through a contact based guidance scaffold containing integrated electrodes. By directing nerve regeneration via sub-micron fiber scaffolding, we can guide the path of regenerating axons across the integrated electrodes, allowing us to effectively record and stimulate the axons. This link is designed to allow the closed-loop control of an advanced prosthetic device.
